Tis' the Season!

Ahh, Complacent.

I'm sitting here in the student union, with an awkward amount of time kill before my next class, nibbling on a chocolate chip scone. It's a bit stale (which is not unexpected because I bought from the school coffee stand) but all in all, it's enjoyable.

I accidently slept in this morning, and instead of rushing to my first class late and in a fit of hysteria, I decided to take my time, get ready, eat a good breakfast and do some homework.

Three hours later and no homework has been completed. In all fairness, I'm moving at glacier speeds.

In the time-span of three hours I:
- Ate breakfast
- Brushed my teeth
- Watched some 90210
- Put my contacts on
- Looked up the 2010 Oscar Nominations ( you better believe I have an opinion on that)
- Did my hair & make up

and lastly, I unsuccessfully packed up my bag for my two o'clock class, and the homework I was planning on completing in the Student Union.
I say 'unsuccessfully' because I forgot several key things:
- My geography book (I have a quiz I need to study for)
- And the article I need to critique for english

I feel like this blog has an awkward structure, so I'm not going to even try to create a transition to my next topic...

THE OSCAR NOMINATIONS
WOOOOOAH BABY.
I approve, for the most part.
Here's who and what I want to win:

Best Picture

Up in The Air

Best Actor in a Leading Role
GEORGE CLOONEY FOR UP IN THE AIR!!
BUT if Colin Firth or Jeff Bridges won, I would be down...I haven't seen either of the movies their nominated for, but I intend to.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role
Christoph Waltz for Inglorious Bastards--He was fantastic!

But thumbs up to Stanley Tucci

Best Actress in a Leading Role
Carey Mulligan for An Education
Go see it, now.

Best Actress in a Supporting Role
Anna Kendrick for Up in the Air

I have no words!

Animated Feature Film
Coraline

Best Adapted Screenplay
Up in the Air, with An Education close behind

Best Original Screen Play
Up

Those were my personal choices.
I'll chime in again later and tell you of my predictions!

PEACEOUT.
